ZDNet:A desktop replacement in your hand

How would you like to have the full power of Win XP and a desktop computer in your shirt pocket? OQO is coming out with a new handheld computer with 1 GHz processor, 20GB hard drive, 256 MB RAM, and ports galore, which runs a full version of Windows XP. It begins shipping in the fall and comes in at a little under US$2000. It seems pricey now, but the price will surely come down with time.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a class set of these!

I posted earlier about the wonderful experience I had at Université Sainte-Anne. While I was there, I met several young people who were taking part in the summer immersion program, grace à CPF. I hope there are still opportunities like this when my own kids get older.
